How to knit the Cornflower stitch
Slip 7 sts purlwise to RH needle dropping extra loops, slip these 7 sts back to LH needle. Slip 4 sts together knitwise to RH needle, slip these 4 sts back to LH needle. Then [(k1, yo) x3, k1] into all 7 sts together through the back loop.

PATTERN
Cast on a multiple of 10 stitches, plus 3.
Row 1 (RS): Knit.
Row 2: P3, *purl 7 wrapping yarn twice around needle for each stitch, p3, repeat from *.
Row 3: K3, * Cornflower stitch, k3, repeat from *.
Row 4: Purl.
Row 5: K3, *p7, k3, repeat from *.

Row 6: Purl.

Row 7: Knit.
Row 8: P8, *purl 7 wrapping yarn twice around needle for each stitch, p3, repeat from * to last 5 sts, p5.
Row 9: K8, * Cornflower stitch, k3, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k5.
Row 10: Purl.

Row 11: K8, *p7, k3, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k5.

Row 12: Purl.
