Cast on a multiple of 10 sts, + 2.
Row 1 (RS): Color A, Knit.
Row 2 and all WS rows: With same color, purl the purl stitches and slip the slipped stitches with yarn in front.
Row 3: Color B, K1, *k8, sl2 wyib; repeat from * to last st, k1.
Row 5: Color A, K1, *sl2 wyib, k4, sl2 wyib, k2; repeat from * to last st, k1.
